Walter Dean "Deanie" McKee, 79, of Bellville, died July 20, 2017, in Waller. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m., Monday, July 24, 2017, at Hempstead Cemetery with James McGee officiating.
Deanie was born in San Angelo, Texas, to the late Guy Franklin Baker and Stella Mozelle Higgins Baker. On April 6, 1953, she was married to John Nual McKee. Deanie was a retired employee of Brenham State School.
She was preceded in death by four brothers; two sisters; a grandson; and two great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, John Nual McKee, of Bellville; sons: John Wesley McKee and wife, Pam, of Bellville, Ricky Dale McKee and wife, Jean, of Conroe, and Dennis Hilton and Denise McKee, of Willis; daughters, Karen Darlene McKee, of Bellville, and Rhonda Sue Koch and husband, Leroy, of Waller; 16 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Leifeste, of San Angelo; other relatives and many friends.
