Waterloo SC - Charles Daniel “Danny” Attaway, Sr., 64, resident of Brownlee Dr., husband of Kathy Cobb Attaway, died July 22, 2017 at his son’s residence. Born November 13, 1952 in Greenwood to the late Charles Edgar and Ruby Shaver Attaway, Danny was a 1970 graduate of Greenwood High School and was a retired Commercial and Residential Painter. He was an avid bowler and drummer, and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving other than his wife of the home are two daughters, Pam (Michael) Noffz of Bradley and Angie (Steve) Boiter of Waterloo; two sons, Charles Attaway, Jr. and friend Matthew Pitts of Hodges and Ronald Locklear of Forest City NC; a brother, James (Faye) Attaway of Greenwood; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Burial at Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Blyth Funeral Home, Greenwood.
