Anthony "Tony" G. Day, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017 in Norman at the age of 75.

Memorial services will be held at 2PM, Friday, July 21, 2017, at the Southern Baptist Church in Rush Springs, with Rev. Richard McCormick officiating. The family has entrusted the cremation to the Callaway Smith Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.

Tony was born Tuesday, June 16, 1942 in New York, NY, to Anthony DiGiovanna and Georgette Day. In 1960, he enlisted in the Marine Corps and served during the Vietnam conflict.

After being honorably discharged with good conduct medal, Tony began his rodeo career in Alabama and eventually moved to Oklahoma to learn leatherworking. He had lived in the Rush Springs area since 1968, owning and operating 4D Boot and Saddle, making tons of boots and saddles among other leather things for cowboys and cowgirls for miles around.

He was a well known cowboy in the rodeo circuit and was a SPRA 4 time World Champ bareback and bull rider, winning numerous other awards, buckles, and saddles throughout his rodeo career. He was a big supporter of St. Judes, Shiners, Toys for Tots, D.A.V., and Lifetime member of the NRA. Tony also was a very active member of the Southern Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Kelly and husband Vaughn Craddock of Ninnekah, Kasey and husband Bryan Lynch of Ninnekah, and a sister Ann and husband Jeff White of Ninnekah.
Also surviving are 5 grandchildren Tony, Kaelyn, Adelyn, Craddock. Wyatt Lynch.

He was preceded in death by his parents. 1 Nephew Richard white
