Carol Lynne Short, 68 of Speedwell, Tennessee, passed away to be with the Lord on July 22, 2017 at UT Medical Center following complications from surgery.
She was surrounded by her husband, and children during her final hours.
Carol married her childhood sweetheart, Billy Short and would have celebrated their 50th wedding Anniversary on July 29th.
Everyone who knew Carol knew she was an amazing hostess and cook. She loved to plan and prepare large family meals, and prepare food for her church family and friends. There was always room for one more at the table. More importantly, she loved being a mother and grandmother.
She taught her children and grandchildren to be kind to everyone, the importance of having a relationship with God, making your bed every day and thanking God for every meal and blessing in life.
Without a doubt, she is sharing her beautiful voice and smile in the choir of angels after seeking out her Grandparents, cousin Kenneth, other family and asking if there is a shoe department.
We celebrate the legacy of love she leaves behind.
