PHILLIPS, Elsie R. - December 1, 1984 at her residence. Survived by one daughter, Mrs. Carolyn P. Graves, Goodlettsville; one son, Joseph B. Phillips, Jr., Lebanon, TN; three grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Hyde Sommerfield of Murphys, CA. Mrs. Phillips was a retired executive secretary with the Dept. of Finance with the State of Tennessee and was a member of the Belle Meade United Methodist Church. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 1984 at 11:30 a.m. in the Woodlawn Chapel of Roses with Rev. Ed Crump officiating. Burial to follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Park. Honorary Pallbearers: The Experienced Ones, Wesleyan Circle and Wesleyan Sunday School Class, all the Belle Meade United Methodist Church. Active Pallbearers: Thomas Graves, Christopher Phillips, Robert Semones, Sam E. Aaron, Flois Woodcock, James C. Tomlinson.
