Donald Alexander Sutherland, 71, a former Calgarian, died Wednesday in Vancouver. In Calgary he had lived at 1505? 12th Ave. W.

Mr. Sutherland was born in Prestwick, Scotland. In 1909 he moved to Winnipeg and in 1915 he came to Calgary. Before moving to Calgary he had worked for the C.P.R. He retired to Vancouver in 1946.

Rev. J.E. Harris will conduct the funeral service in Jacques Funeral Home Ltd. at 1 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Queen’s Park Cemetery.

Surviving are his wife, Martha, Vancouver, a son Donald A., Calgary, a granddaughter; two brothers, one in Winnipeg and the other on Vancouver Island.
