Judy Vail, 74, passed away at 4:30 a.m., Saturday, July 22, 2017, at her home. She was under the care of Unity Hospice.
She was born June 8, 1943, in Glover, Missouri, the daughter of the late Robert and Paralee (Savage) O'Connor.
Judy was a member of Community Christian Church in Alton. She liked to crochet, adult coloring, and her Kindle.
Survivors include two sons, Jeff Vail of Greenville and Jon Vail of Cottage Hills; two daughters, Cathy Stayner of Greenville and Stacey (Tony) Woodward of East Alton; twelve grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Dorothy Wooten and Patricia McKinney, and her daughter, Amy (Vail) Thiems.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday July 24 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.
Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday July 25 at Elias, Kallal, and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto and will be officiated by Pastor Dave Burger.
Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
Memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation and Community Christian Church in Alton.
