Son of Henrik Tollefsen and Margrete Levorsdatter. Baptized March 21, 1810 in Nes, Buskerud, Norway. Married Christi Thorsdatter April 24, 1843 in Nes, Buskerud, Norway.
His seven children were all raised in Plymouth, outside of Orfordville, WI.
The family church was the Luther Valley Church which is located directly across the Road on the Luther Valley Rd. in the 1860s there was an addition put on to the church.
Family was buried there with the "Old Burying Ground" that could have no names due to the outbreak of cholera that killed large number of community members that summer according to WI. history books including a found site of sibling Mary Trostem.
∼Died at 1881 with burial at the Luther Valley Cemetery.
Many Trostems were born and lived in the Orfordville area in Spring Valley, Rock County.
