Mr. William Dewey Harris, 85 passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017, at Baptist Nursing Home in Calhoun City, after a long good life. He was a welder and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.

W.D. was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Ree Harris, seven brothers, Oscar, J.B., Wilson, Howard, Jessie, Henry and Thad Harris, a sister, Florence Brassfield and his parents, Jessie Ulna and Liza Chaney Harris.

Survivors are three daughters, Linda Jackson, Fulton, MS, Patsy Redwine, Jackson, MS and Diana Westmoreland, Vardaman, MS. Two sons, Roger (Mavis) Harris, Vardaman, MS and Tony Harris, Vardaman, MS. Twelve grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Visitation will be 10:00A.M. to 2:00 P.M., Monday, July 24, 2017 and the funeral will follow at 2:00 P.M., Monday. Bro. Robert Earl Alexander and Bro. Benny Hill will be conducting the services and burial will follow in Elzey Cemetery.
