In Chelmsford, Mass., Dec. 25, of lung fever, Wm. Adams, Esq., aged 81 years and 5 months. The deceased was one of the oldest inhabitants of Chelmsford, his native town. At the early age of 15 or 16 years, he joined the army of the revolution, and was at one time stationed at West Point, and while there was an eye-witness to the melancholly [sic] execution of Major Andre.
