Lynette Abrams Morgan, 81 of Flintstone, Georgia went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 21, 2017. She had lived in the North Georgia area for most of her life and attended Valley View Baptist Church. She was a loving and devoted sister, wife, mother, grandmother & great grandmother who will be truly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph & Maggie Abrams; her loving husband of more than 56 years, Fred Morgan; sisters, Trudy Thomas and Irene Denton and 3 brothers, Wesley, Willie Joe and James Abrams.
Survivors include her children, Clifford & Donna Morgan of Chickamauga, GA, Brenda & Eddie Anderson and Peggy Morgan all of Flintstone, GA; brother, Milton & Evelyn Abrams of Steens, Mississippi; sisters, Frances Bell of Macon, Mississippi, Barbara Edmondson of Columbus, Mississippi and Donnie Nix of Clinton, Mississippi; 4 grandchildren, LaTisha Morgan, Daniel Anderson, Jonathan Morgan and Rachel & Will Brock; 4 great grandchildren, Autumn Morgan, Gabe Morgan, Michaella Morgan and Abigail Brock; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family & friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 23, 2017 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Rev. Jeff Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakewood South Memory Gardens.
