Of Leadwood, passed away July 21, 2017, at Community Manor. She was born on March 24, 1931 to the late William W. and Sarah E. (Wilson) Williams. Joyce was a life-long member of the First Baptist Church in Leadwood where she played the organ and piano. She enjoyed painting, craft work and bird watching.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louie Freeman; two brothers, Otis (Elsie) Williams and Williard (Ruth) Williams; one sister, Delores (Robert) Thompson.
Joyce is survived by two children, David Freeman and wife Madonna of Irondale and Dennis Freeman and wife Kelly of Fenton; four grandchildren, Lisa Boyd and husband Dennis of Farmington, Laci Tadych and husband Greg of Farmington, Jennifer Crowe of St. Louis and Leslie Skaggs and husband Cody of Louisiana, along with seven great-grandchildren.
