Marianne Jule Christensen was the 2nd daughter born to Chris Christensen, a Danish immigrant, and his wife Clara Reit Christensen, daughter or Norwegian immigrants. Marianne's early years were spent with her family in San Francisco where she was born. While still in elementary school her family moved about an hour north to Santa Rosa. Marianne was a graduate of Santa Rosa High School class of 1955. She went on to Pacific Lutheran College and after she finished her studies, she started working at Crocker Bank in San Francisco. This was when she met her future husband, Don Wilson. Marianne went on to marry Don and they had a son, Daryl. Marianne is survived by her husband, son and grandson Atom Wilson. I will always remember my aunt for her kindness and patience along with her honesty whenever you would come to her with a question.
