Matthew "Matty" Daniels, 24, of Battle Creek, was tragically taken Saturday, November 3, 2012. He was born November 4, 1987 in Battle Creek, the son of Richard Daniels and Lisa Suhonen. Matt was an avid softball player. He enjoyed fishing. His friends and family adored him. He had a contagious smile and laugh. His greatest joys in life were his friends and family.
He is survived by his parents, Lisa (Charles) Suhonen and Richard (Renee) Daniels; siblings, Nick (Amanda Towry) Daniels, Cody (Amanda) Suhonen and Heather Suhonen; nephew, Elijah Daniels; grandparents, Cindy Knapper, Maurine Knapper, and Richard Daniels, Sr.; aunt, Carrie Knapper; uncles, Dan (Anne) Daniels and Jerry Daniels.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Janice Daniels; aunt, Lorie Townsend; and great grandfather, Thomas Knapper, Sr.
