James Fred Bonner, Sr., 69, of Savannah, died Friday, July 22, 2005 at Hospice Savannah, Inc., surrounded by his family. He was born in Comer, Ga., and had lived in Savannah since 1945. He was a graduate of Southern Tech as a Mechanical Engineer, and was preceded in death by his parents, George and Irene Bonner. He was the President and Owner of Bonner Roofing and Sheet Metal Company, Inc. He is survived by his wife, Luree Morris Bonner, of Savannah, Ga; two sons and daughters in law, James Fred Bonner, Jr., and Robin B. Bonner, of Savannah, Ga; and Gregory Foster Bonner and Patty B. Bonner of Orlando, Fla; stepdaughter and son in law, Susan and Darryl Smith of Columbus, Ga; three brothers and sisters in law, Jimmy and Kathy Bonner, Allen and Kimberley Bonner, all of Savannah, Ga., and Larry and Nancy Bonner of Augusta, Ga; two grandchildren, James Fred Bonner, III and Jamie Foster Bonner.
