John was a proud WWII veteran, having served in the United States Navy's 7th Fleet Amphibious Mobile Communications Unit from 1944 to 1947. While this was something he was very proud of, he considered his family to be the biggest accomplishment of his life and loved every minute he spent with them.
His family can only imagine the reunion he is having with his son Charlie, along with all the family and friends who are all waiting on him there.
