Phillip Larry Ross age 76 of Oneida, Tennessee, formerly of McCreary County, passed from this life on Friday, July 21, 2017 at the Jean Waddle Hospice Care Center.
He was born July 29, 1940 in Revelo, Kentucky to the late Gertrude Ross. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his son, Paul Ross, and Norma Ross, the mother of his son, Chase.
Survivors include his sons, Phillip Chase Ross of Oneida, Tennessee, and Patrick Ross of Revelo, Kentucky; daughters, Teresa Wallen and husband, Larry, and Debie Ross, all of Revelo, Kentucky; grandchildren, Chris Wallen, Patrick Ross, Jr., Brooklyn and Brittany Ross; great-grandchildren, Bryson, Breanna, and Brylee Wallen, Neveaeh, Kayden, and Joz’lynn Ross; Frances Ross, the mother of Patrick, Paul, Teresa and Debie; and Chad Duncan, a close family friend for many years.
Larry was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was also a member of the CB club, the McCreary Co. EMS and Rescue Squad, and the NRA. Larry enjoyed trading and tinkering with anything he could get his hands on.
In accordance to Larry’s wishes, he will be cremated.
Pine Knot Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
