Mrs. Minnie Lee Styles Bowers of Marianna, FL Jerusalem Community transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Thursday, June 22, 2017 in Jackson Hospital.

She was a member of the New Galilee Missionary Baptist Church and the wife of the late Rev. R.J. Bowers.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at 2:00 P.M. at Second West Missionary Baptist Association 4110 Herring Avenue Marianna, FL with Rev. Wallace Godwin, Min. Nathaniel Pollock Jr., Min. George E. Bowers Jr., Min. Jeffrey Bowers Jr., and Rev. George E. Bowers Sr., Officiating.

Interment will be in the New Galilee Cemetery.

Vann Funeral Home will be in charge of the service.

The viewing will be held on Friday June 30, 2017 from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Vann Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bowers will lie in repose at Second West from 1:00 P.M. until time for the service.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories, a loving and devoted family:

Five Daughters: Rosa Pollock, Lorain Hardy (Roosevelt), Minnie L. Williams (Gary) and Eara Brown (Kevin), all of Marianna, FL and Carlean Merritt (Shedrick) of Clinton Township, MI;

Five Sons: Robert J. Bowers Jr., Rev. George Bowers (Verda), and Rev. Eddie E. Bowers (Sonya), all of Marianna, FL; Monar Bowers of Quincy, FL and Rev. Danny Bowers (Karen) of Chattanooga, TN

Brothers-in-Law: Deacon James Bowers (Alice) of Tampa, FL and Rev. John H. Bowers (Eileen) of Marianna, FL

Sister-in-Law: Lillie Lovett of Tampa, FL

Three Nieces: Teresa Yon (Chester) of Tampa, FL; Lillie Speights and Joyce Chapman, both of Marianna, FL

Forty-one Grandchildren; Seventy-three Great Grandchildren and Five Great, Great Grandchildren

And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many, many sorrowing friends
