Marge lived in many places throughout her life, including St. Louis, Indiana, Houston, San Francisco, Ventura, Fresno, Sacramento, and Roseville. Artistic and creative, her interests were knitting and sewing, cooking, canning, gardening, playing bunco and card games of all types. She knitted over 1,000 baby caps for the newborns at Sutter Roseville Medical Center! She loved nothing more than a road trip to places such as Palm Springs, Ventura, Graeagle, and Seaside, OR. She enjoyed going on cruises with her husband and family, visiting many Mexican ports, trips to Hawaii, and a whirlwind trip to Paris and Germany. She worked as a fashion Buyer for The Emporium in San Francisco, a telephone switchboard operator in Ventura, a counselor for the Diet Center in Carmichael, a consultant at a Roseville antique store, and a housewife. She had the “gift of gab”, where she knew many rhymes and sayings, and enjoyed spending time chatting with her friends and family. She enjoyed cooking and put on many memorable holiday dinner celebrations and backyard BBQs. For Marge, family and friends always came first, and she was best known as a loving wife, mom, grandma and friend. She enjoyed her life and will be remembered for her compassion, patience, wisdom, love, and grace.
