Donna the oldest of eight children was born Dec. 18, 1929 in Butte to Clinton and Ruth Harrington-Warner.
One of her favorite accomplishments was being part of the Butte High tumbling team. She graduated from Butte High School in 1947 and went on to work as a bookkeeper for Safeway and Meadow Gold Dairy.
Donna married the love of her life Clarence Roper August 19, 1950 and together they had five children [names omitted]. She enjoyed spending time with family, camping, bowling league, ceramics, embroidery, shopping, spending time at George Town Lake with Clarence and their family, fishing, her dogs Benji and Junior, and family vacations with her children and grandchildren. In their final years together Donna and Clarence loved going on gambling trips to Wendover and other places in Nevada. Everyone that knew Donna knows that she had a big heart and always made sure everyone was taken care of and she would never let you leave her house hungry. She was a great cook and made the best gnocchi’s at Christmas time.
Donna is preceded in death by her husband Clarence, daughter Lori Nugent, mother Ruth, father Clinton, sister Marlene Malyevac, and brothers Clinton and Donny Warner.
Survivors include two sons, two daughters, two sons-in-law, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, three brothers, a sister, two sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins [survivor's names omitted].
In lieu of flowers please make donations to charity of your choice. Relatives and friends may call from 9:00Am to 10:00AM Saturday at the Duggan Dolan Chapel for visitations.
