Berry Bowen passed away on June 29, 2017, from complications of by-pass surgery. The son of Richard and Rebecca Bowen. Berry was born in Susanville, CA, on December 18, 1945.

Berry was a barber for 50+ years and owned Berry's Barber Shop in Redding. He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting and fishing. Berry was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend to just about everyone he met. Berry loved to tell a good story. He was a very proud man, who lived life to the fullest every day.

He is survived by his sweetheart Bev of 23 years and children Don Bowen, Shelley Jones and Shawn Green and daughter-in-law's Karen Bowen and Robyn Green. He had 11 grandchildren; Travis, Megan and Danny, Garrett, Chelsea, Kensey and Shelby, Kaden, Tiffany and Jace and Daniel.

Graveside services were held at Gotcher Cemetery in Williams, Oregon at 2:00 pm on August 5, 2017, and followed by a potluck at the Gazebo at Riverside Park in Grants Pass, Oregon.

A motorcycle escort met at the barbershop at 8:30 am, on the 5th of August, to ride along.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm, on September 09, 2017, at the Elks Lodge, 250 Elk Drive in Redding, CA. Please RSVP to Berry's Barber Shop, (530) 223-5332. Berry wanted a party with lots of food and fun, so bring your favorite dish and a memory to share.
