Shelby Lee Fox, age 77, a laborer, died yesterday in a Fresno hospital after a short illness. Death was attributed to bronchopneumonia. He was a native of Tennessee, and had lived in Fresno County 45 years. He was employed by Kaiser Steel for 50 years.
He is survived by his widow, Edith of Fresno; two sons, Doyle of Fresno and Bill of oklahoma; two daughters, Mrs. mary Pacheco of Fresno and Mrs. Oma Blalock of Oklahoma; a brother, Grover fox of San Jose; two sisters: Mrs Laura Roberts and Mrs. Mattie Crawford, both of Oklahoma; 20 grandchildren' and many great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. in the John N. Lisle Chapel. Interment will follow in the Mendocino Cemetery in Parlier.
NOTE: Shelby was the son of Dicy Fox.
