I believe this to be Christopher Meschter /Masters b. Mar 13, 1778 d. Nov 6, 1859
son of Christopher and Christina (Yeakel) Meschter.
Lived in Union Twp, Berks County PA was a blacksmith, Signed his name Christopher Meschter on a release. According to Dr J. L. Masters of Indianapolis, Christopher Master went to Indiana in 1833. Upon his arrival he was called Christopher Masters but did not write the "s" on the end of Masters in the beginning but later on he started to add the "S"
married Mary (Kerling) b. Nov 14, 1781 d. Oct 10, 1838
