Karen Sue (Woolweaver) Wallace, 68, of Springfield, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2017, in the Miami Valley Hospital. She was born on March 3, 1949, in Springfield, the daughter of the late Harold J. and Rose L. (Martin) Woolweaver. Karen worked at Speedway Corporate for over 30 years. She enjoyed bowling, sewing and old movies. Most of all Karen loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Tina Roxanne (Steve) McDaniel of Fairborn, one son Jay Wallace (Kelley Rittenhouse), of London, four grandchildren: Christopher, Michelle, MaKayla and K.T.; three sisters: Jean Baker, Terri (Rick) Shinkle, and Jane Becraft; and her lifetime best friend, Susan Barlow. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Doris Woolweaver. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, July 21, 2017 from 5-8:00 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME where a celebration of her life will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Garden.
