Mrs. Zelma C. Post, 77, of St. Johns, passed away Nov. 17, 1978, at Provincial Hospital in Lansing.
Funeral services, were held at the Osgood Funeral Home Monday, Nov 20, at 3:30 p.m. with Rev. Terry MacArthur officiating. Burial was in Union Home Cemetery. The family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
Mrs. Post was born in Clinton County July 29, 1901 to Robert and Jenny (Turner) Kirby. She had resided in St. Johns area since 1935.
Surviving are a son, Robert Post; four grandchildren; and a brother Evard. Her husband Miron E. Post, passed away in 1973. Mrs. Post was a member of the Greenbush Methodist Church.
Zelma married Miron (Myron) E. Post on November 10, 1923 in Detroit, MI.
In reference to Zelma's middle name: states "Clift" on hand written Birth Certificate, but could possibly be (Cleft, Cliff).
