Shelby Walker, age 67, of Johnson City, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 19th, 2017 at her home. A native of Mitchell County, she was a daughter of the late Bertie Street Lingerfelt. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Street. Shelby will be remembered for the love and adoration she had for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 22nd in the Chapel of Yancey Funeral Services. Burial will follow in the Garland Parker Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
