American Musician, Singer and Songwriter. Bennington was the lead singer for the American rock band, Linkin Park. He began his career singing in a band called Sean Dowdell and His Friends, releasing a three-track cassette in 1993. Bennington later formed a new band, Grey Daze, a post-grunge band from Phoenix and recorded three albums; 'Demo' (1993), 'Wake Me' (1994) and "...no sun today' (1997). He would find his greatest success with his next band, Linkin Park, on the heels of studio albums 'Hybrid Theory' (2000), 'Meteora' (2003), 'Minutes to Midnight' (2007), 'A Thousand Suns' (2010), 'Living Things' (2012), 'The Hunting Party' (2014) and 'One More Light' (2017). The band would also release five live albums. In 2013, he briefly fronted Stone Temple Pilots after the band parted ways with long-time lead singer Scott Weiland. Bennington also had a minor acting career, appearing in such films as 'Crank' (2006), 'Crank: High Voltage' (2009), 'Saw 3D' (2010) and 'Artifact' (2012). Bennington, who was married and the father of six children with two wives, and had a history of struggling with drugs and alcohol, died of a suspected suicide.
