MILLERSBURG- Shirley E. "The Gram" Cordy age 83 , of Center Street, passed away Wednesday, July 19th, 2017 at her home.
She was born June 2, 1934 in Lykens , daughter of the late Harry Ephram Witmer and Mable (Knorr) Witmer.
She had worked in the past for the former Keytab Co., and TRW.
Shirley had a great sense of humor and was loved by everyone. She enjoyed spending time with family, cruising, traveling, line dancing, swimming, Brad Crum as Elvis, casinos and baking her famous cookies. She also enjoyed the Millersburg Senior Center and volunteering at the Kepler Home.
Survivors include daughter, Jody Long Troutman (Robert) , Halifax; Sons, Jeffrey S. Long (Nancy), Halifax and Cam R. Cordy (Deena) Lykens; Grandchildren, Carrie Troutman, Kutztown, Jamison Troutman, Florida, Dustin Long (Kristen), Hershey and Edria Cordy, Lykens; One great grandson, Carson Long, Hershey.
There will be a life celebration at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 22 at the Broad Mountain Winery at 596 Harman Road, Halifax, PA 17032. Her final place of rest will be in Bermuda.
