Ticonderoga sentinel., September 22, 1921

Blake Mitchell of New York died very suddenly at the home of this uncle, Glen Stafford, Wednesday morning of last week. The lad, who
was only sixteen yearn old, had come up from New York about two weeks before and, after being here a short time, was taken ill, but his condition was not considered serious. He seemed much better that morning and the doctor thought that his recovery was only a matter of regaining his strength by proper nourishment,
but he was taken suddenly worse and died in a very short time. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Loveland, and two brothers, Raymond and Wllitam Mitchell of New York and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. D W. Stafford, of Essex, also by several uncles and aunts, to whom is extended the deepest sympathy of
all in their great bereavement. The funeral was held at the home o£ Mr. and Mrs. Glen Stafford Friday, Rev. C. W. Groupe officiating. Interment in Lake View cemetery
