Darrell Elmer Frazier, 84, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2017. He was born on July 22, 1932, to Silas Miller and Ella McNeeley Frazier in Turlock, California.

He married Virginia A. Hardy on July 3, 1958, in Elko, Nevada.

Darrell spent his early years in the Tremonton, Utah area. He joined the U.S. Army at an early age and served his term of two years honorably, which included 11 bombing runs over Korea as a waist gunner on the B-29 aircraft. He spent his career at Hill Air Force Base in Law Enforcement, retiring as a Criminal Investigator.

He was an avid duck hunter and outdoorsman. He loved spending time with his family, especially celebrating the holidays. Halloween and Christmas were his favorite because he loved the excitement and joy of his children and grandchildren. This is how he showed his love for his family.

Darrell was an excellent cook and loved to create dinners for his family. His family is really going to miss his special fried chicken.

Darrell is survived by his wife, Virginia; daughters, Tina Frazier-Snyder, Marci (Mike) Ridl; Grandchildren, Justin Frazier, Clark (Danielle) Snyder, Annie (Parker) Hansen, and Baylee Ridl.

Darrell is preceded in death by his mother, father, three brothers, and one sister.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017, at the Layton Lindquist Memorial Park, 1867 North Fairfield Road, Layton, Utah, at 11:00 a.m.

A viewing will be held at Leavitt’s Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah, on Thursday, April 6, 2017, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
