She attended Carthage Senior High and graduated in 1963. On October 25, 1963, she was united in marriage to Ken Jones at Carthage. Due to his military service, they made their home in Hawaii and Texas, moving to Kansas City, MO in 1970. In the early 2000’s they moved to Lincoln, MO.
Kay enjoyed fishing with her husband and she was also a talented seamstress.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sons, Kenneth Lance Jones, and twin sons, Jason Wade and Jeffrey Kirk who died in infancy, and one brother, Leon Swope.
She is survived by her husband, Ken, of the home, one daughter, Valory Whitten and her husband, Rowdy, of Liberty, MO, four grandchildren, Derek Whitten, Shaylyn Whitten, Keith Carter and Kenneth Tucker Jones, two brothers, Robert and Chuck Swope and a sister, Glenda Buck, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services for Kay Jones will be at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at the Davis-Miller Funeral Home, Lincoln, MO., with visitation beginning at 1:00 P.M. Cremation will follow.
