Barbara Ann Barlow Thompson, 81, of Beaufort, formerly of Sylvania, died Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC.
The Hazlehurst native was born to the late Trudie Maude Hand and William Kelly Barlow, Sr. in 1936. She was a homemaker and enjoyed floral designs at her son's nursery, Buds & Blooms. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Sylvania. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Edmond Thompson.
She is survived by her children, Lesley & Leslie Cooper of Simpsonville, SC, William Edmond Thompson & Edward Marchetti of Beaufort, SC, Steve & Tracey Thompson of Sylvania, GA, grandchildren, Lauren & Ben Ross of Statesboro, GA, Lacey Cooper of Simpsonville, SC, Austin Thompson and Lindsey Thompson, both of Sylvania, GA, great-grandchildren, Lanie Ross and Lucy Kate Ross, sister, Francis (Perry, Jr.) Hill of Camden, SC, and brother, William Kelly, Jr., (Denise) Barlow, of Moncks Corner, SC.
Graveside services will be held at Screven County Memorial Cemetery on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 11:00am with Minister George Pevey officiating.
