Services for John H. Brunning, 97, of 1923 N. Division St., Davenport, will be 9:15 a.m. Monday at Runge Mortuary and 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Davenport. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.
Visitation is after 3 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary, where a rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
Mr. Brunning died Friday at Mercy Hospital after a brief illness.
He formerly worked at McClelland Sash and Door Co., Davenport.
Mr. Brunning was born in Davenport, where he married Clara Meier in 1906. The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1956. She died in 1965.
Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Vernon C. (Adeline) Meier, Mrs. Gilbert (Bernice) Levetzow, and Mrs. Irwin (Gladys) Levetzow, all of Davenport; sons Leroy and Marvin, both of Davenport; seven grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
