Paula Rouse Simmons, 69, of Baytown, Texas went to be with the Lord Thursday March 1, 2007. She was born on July 15, 1937 to Benjamin and Mavis (Chase) Rouse in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Paula was a good old girl who worried about everyone but never wanted to trouble anyone. She loved to go to church. Paula was a faithful member of Restoration House Church. She was very giving and self willed woman. Above everything else, Paula loved her family.

Paula was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Lila Bonita. She is survived by her sons, Quint Boswell and wife Jessi, Aaron Boswell and wife Paula, Kyle Simmons; brother Daniel Rouse and wife Lucy; sisters Frita Rode, Vicki Ehler; grandchildren Calvin, Ian, Adam, and Connor; and special friend Ruth Sebesta.

A visitation for family and friends is from 5:00 until 8:00 pm on Sunday March 4, 2007 at Sterling-White Funeral Home.

A celebration of life with be held on Monday March 5, 2007 at Sterling-White Funeral Home with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Memorial Park.
