Richard C. Dickson, age 75, of Toledo, passed away July 17, 2017 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. He was born August 27, 1941 in Toledo, Ohio to Robert and Esther (Jackson) Dickson. Rich was a 1959 graduate of Waite High School and received his degree from the University of Toledo. He was employed with the St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center for more than 35 years retiring in 2012 working in the Radiology Department. Rich loved football and was an avid fan of the Toledo Rockets, Detroit Lions and The Ohio State Buckeyes.
Rich is survived by his wife, Teresa A. Dickson; children, Jeffrey (Martha) Dickson, Jennifer (Joe) Oelette, Heather (Dean) Voyles, Charles Dickson, Regina Epperson and Molly Buckner; grandchildren, Alex, Dana, Gregory, Jomaa, Jessica, Charleyann, Anaya, Vanessa, Devon, Logan, Brittany and Makayla Dickson; many great-grandchildren and sister, Judy (Robert) Sengstock. In addition to his parents, Rich was preceded in death by his sons, Richard J. and Thomas Dickson.
The family will receive guests Sunday, July 23, 2017 from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). The family will receive guests Monday, July 24, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1745 Eastgate Toledo, Ohio where funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at New Belleville Ridge Cemetery.
