Christopher Butler, son of Glennon and Wilma (Moore) Butler was born February 26, 1980 in Kennett, Missouri and departed this life July 16, 2017 at the age of 37 years. Chris married Laura Ross on November 5, 2004 in Kennett.

He is survived by his wife: Laura (Ross) Butler of Kennett, Missouri; his parents: Glennon and Wilma Butler of Kennett, Missouri; One son: Dawson Butler of Kennett, Missouri and other relatives and many friends.

Chris was a dedicated member of the First United Pentecostal Church of Kennett. He was a talented drummer for the church. He served as a fireman and was an EMS Instructor.

Visitation will be 6:00-9:00 PM Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at First United Pentecostal Church in Kennett. Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, July 20, 2017 at the First United Pentecostal Church in Kennett with Reverend Don Sheerin officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett. Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Paul Spain, Shawn Harmon, Jimmy Don Butler, Justin Tuberville, Clyde Owens and Keith Johnson. Honorary pallbearers are: Kennett Fire Department, Trent Morgan, Chad Morgan, Dennis Thompson, Chris Johnson, Kevin Tidwell and Sparky Lewis.
