Raymond E. Auger Sr, 87, a long-time Wenatchee, WA, resident, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2017, peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. Ray was born to Herman and Florence Auger, the first of two children in Ritzville, WA. He married Jeannetta Dodson on October 1, 1949, in Wenatchee, WA. They lived in Wenatchee and made it their final home. Ray retired from Alcoa in 1994, after 30 years. Ray loved the wilderness and loved to go camping, hunting, and fishing. He was an avid Mariners and Seahawks fan. In his final years, he found enjoyment in gardening and spending time with family. Ray served honorably in the United States Marine Corps and was a long-time member of the Apple Valley Baptist Church.

He is survived by his daughters: Junell, Jennifer, and Janine; his sons: Ray Jr., and Ron Sr. Ray had 18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Ray was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; and one brother.

A Viewing will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2017, from 2:00-6:00 p.m. at Telfords Chapel of the Valley in East Wenatchee, WA. Memorial Services will be held at Telford’s on Thursday, May 11, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. and a Graveside Service will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park in East Wenatchee, WA.
