Charles Oscar Dinkins was the sixth child of Matthew and Virginia Dinkins. He lived around Ellington most of his life and was a farmer. He was not ever married. He helped his mother in the raising of his niece, Velma, and she had fond memories of him. He died at the Pine Crest Nursing Home in Ballwin, MO at the age of 78 years. He is buried near other family members.
