Mr. Dwain Willis Asberry passed away Wednesday August 3,2005, at his Farmington residence at the age of 78 years 3 months & 29 days. Dwain was born April 4, 1927 in Ellington MO. to Clayton & Floy(Willis) Asberry. Also preceding- in- death were: 2 sisters: Cleta Duncan & June Cook; 3 brothers: Gene, Chester & Truman Asberry.

Dwain was a US ARMY Veteran of World War II: A Lifetime member of Norman L. Rigdon VFW Post #5896, Farmington : retired Teamster Local #574 of Cape Girardeau, MO, & married Virginia Brown on July 1, 1945.

Survivors Include: His wife Virginia Belle 'Brown' Asberry, of Farmington; 3 Daughters: Margaret 'Mrs Carl' Caldwell, of West Branson, MO.; Sue 'Mrs John' Scopperttone, of Fredericktown, MO.; Gina 'Mrs Doug' March, of Kirkwood, MO.; 2 sons Dwain ( & Angie) Asberry of Farmington, MO.; Kevin Asberry of Omaha NE.; 2 sisters : Connie Ahrens, of DeSoto,MO.& Velma 'Mrs John' Duffy of Wheeling, IL; 4 brothers: Dale (& JoAnn) Asberry, of Fenton,MO.; Elva (& Wilma) Asberry, of Imperial, MO.; Foy (& Theresa) Asberry , of Ferguson,MO.; Udell ( & Lucy ) Asberry, of Redford, MO. 6 Grandchildren & 6 Great- Grandchildren.
