Lona Dell Fletcher, 88, of Garner, died Nov. 28, 2006, at her residence.
Graveside service was Wednesday, Nov. 29, at Elmwood Cemetery with Rev. Charles Mays officiating.
She was born Jan. 12, 1918, in Glen Rose, Texas, to Toy Earl and Oma Lee Defore Mackey. She married Sammie Virgil Fletcher on Jan. 16, 1935, in Mineral Wells. She was a housewife and lived in the area all her life. She was a member of Eleventh Avenue Church.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Jo Dell and Glenn Barton of Garner; grandchildren and spouses, Jerry Don and Brigitte Eichler of Granbury and Debbie Eichler of Fort Worth; great-grandchildren, Russ and Coby Eichler of Granbury; and sister, Nell Whitlock of Escondido, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1993; granddaughter, Donna Daughtrey; great-grandson, Tony Daughtrey; and five siblings.
