Dena Johnson 1891-1975
Mrs. Nels (Dena) Johnson died Saturday, November 1, at the Clearwater Memorial Hospital in Bagley at the age of 84.
Services were held Wednesday, November 5, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Bagley. Pastor George Gilbertson officiated with burial in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery under the direction of the Cease Funeral Home.
Mrs. Johnson was born May 1891 in Grafton, North Dakota. At the age of five her family moved to the Bagley area where they farmed in Popple Township. She married Nels Johnson on December 26, 1926 in Bagley. They moved into Bagley in 1956 and in 1969 she became a resident of Greensview Nursing Home. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Bagley and the Zion Lutheran Ladies Aide.
Survivors include her husband (Nels), one daughter Joyce (Mrs. Laverne Dobson) of Bagley; one son, John of Kalispell, Montana; one sister, Betty Sunderland of Bagley and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one infant son, three brothers and two sisters.
