Wanda Mazell Thompson
BROWNWOOD -- Wanda Mazell Thompson, 72, of Muskogee, Okla., and formerly of Brownwood, died Sunday in Muskogee.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Eastland Memorial Park with the Rev. R.J. Elkins officiating, directed by Heartland Funeral Home of Early.
Mrs. Thompson moved to Muskogee, Okla. in 1992 from Brownwood. She was a member of the Brownwood Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary. She was a Baptist and was the widow of James E. Thompson Sr.
Survivors include three sons, James E. Thompson Jr. and Tommy Dale Thompson, both of Muskogee, Okla., and Jacky Wayne Thompson of Brownwood; one daughter, Cherrie B. Spearman of Brownwood; one brother, Bobby Lane of California; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to American Cancer Society.
