Ms. Lena Gray Brown, 100, of Tarboro, NC. died Saturday at Edgecombe Health and Rehab. Center, Tarboro.
Ms. Brown, born in Edgecombe County, was the daughter of the late Lucinda Brown.
She is survived by her niece, Erdie Betrand of Tarboro; cousins, Rev. Dorothy Purvis, Maggie Jones, Verdell Robinson all of Tarboro, NC; and a host of other family and friends.
She was a member of St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board. and where services for her were held, Saturday, 1 PM, July 15, 2017 with the Rev. Robert C. Farmer officiating.
Burial was made in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.
