This very old fieldstone bears only the name D.K. and the year 1676, with March 12 inscribed after the year. The stone is listed in the 1934 Hale Collection transcription of the cemetery.

Contributor Howard William Sternberg III (50407872) has added the following information:
"It is thought by some that this marks the grave of the second child [of Daniel Kelsey who died 1727 and his first wife Mary (Stevens) Kelsey who died 1742] that he was named Daniel and died young, and that they then named the third child [who was born 2 June 1677] the same as the second - Daniel." (Quoted with additions in brackets from Edward A. Claypool, Azalea Clizbee, Earl Leland Kelsey, A Genealogy of the Descendants of William Kelsey, Vol I, The Tuttle, Morehouse & Taylor Co, New Haven CT, 1928.Reprinted 1972 with additions and corrections edited by Elias Isbell Kelsey, p 57-58.)
