Graveside service: 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at the pavilion in Nubbin Ridge Cemetery.
Lynn was welcomed into the home of George Edward Lansing, Jr & Mary Lansing March 22, 1932 in Magnolia, MS.
Lynn loved children. She taught kindergarten in Summit and McComb, MS for many years. After that, she worked at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center as a dietary technician.
Lynn was a joyous and loving person and was known throughout the hospital as the lady who gave out candy and hugs.
Lynn loved her Lord and her church, FBC, Summit. She was an active participant in the ministries of the church throughout much of her adult life.
Lynn spent the last five years of her life as a resident of The Oaks assisted living center. She blessed the staff and residents alike with her unconditional love as well as with many hugs and kisses.
Predeceased by parents; husband, William H. Gardner; infant twins, Janet Lynn and William Richard; brothers, George, Bill and Fred.
Survived by: Daughter, Cindi Pace and husband, Scott of Granbury, TX; son, Bill Gardner and wife, Caryn of Selma, AL; granddaughters, Michele Dyson and husband, Brett, Sarah Pace, Leigh Ann Bamberg and husband, Will; grandsons, Daniel Gardner and wife, Samantha and Micah Pace and wife, Kaci; great-grandchildren, Ava Lansing Dyson and William “Liam” Keith Bamberg, III; sisters, Jane Derrick and Meg Boogaerts; brother, John Lansing and wife, Marlene.
