She was born on Dec. 15, 1946 in Rochester, Ind. to Louis E. and Louise E. (Windbigler) Kelly.
She married on Aug. 7, 1966 at the Walnut Gospel Church in Argos, Ind. to Roger L. Alderfer, who survives.
She had worked for the former Torin/Brookside Corporation in Rochester, Ind.
She was a graduate of Mentone High School in 1966. She was a Master Gardener and was a member of the Herb Society.
