He is preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Grace (Cain) Betts; his sister, Dorothy College; and a brother, Paul Betts.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Arlene; his two daughters, Barbara Ellis and Susan Robinson; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m., at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be an hour prior to the funeral. The family will direct memorials. Casual dress is encouraged for the service.
