He was a security guard at Cape Dorey in East Taunton.
Mr. Harmon had been a resident of East Bridgewater for the past 46 years, coming from East Machias, Maine, where he grew up.
He was a former registered Maine Guide, former member of the Hanson Rod and Gun Club and past president.
Mr. Harmon enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
He is survived by his daughter and son, Cynthia L. Burke of Bridgewater and David G. Eaton of Marston Mills; his brother and sisters, Harvey Harmon of Palm Bay, Fla., Kathleen Gerard of Bridgewater and Irene Willey of Milbridge, Maine; 7 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one great great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. He was also brother to the late Hollis Harmon.
