Wife of Henry Gordon Harper.
Evelyn retired after more than 30 years in the nursing field, among which she was a School Nurse for Francis Howell and Fort Zumwalt School Districts. She graduated from Deaconess College of Nursing in 1949 as a Registered Nurse. She was a founding member of Grace UCC of O’Fallon, where she loved serving the church in many ways, such as the coffee hour, singing in the choir, and cleaning church. She also volunteered at the Hope Food Pantry.
Evelyn enjoyed planting flowers, canning vegetables from her husband’s garden, and reading in her spare time. She was a devoted Mizzou Basketball and St. Louis Cardinals Baseball fan. She was dearly loved, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Evelyn is preceded in death by her siblings Lesta (Art) Hall, Glen Zeiter, and infant brother, Roy Zeiter.
Funeral Service was held at Grace United Church of Christ, St. Peters, Mo.
