Marvin "Red" Leroy Hughes, born October 5, 1939 in Dayton, OH to the late Wilkison and Janet (Morehouse) Hughes.

Preceded in death by his wife Junie K. Hughes; brothers Richard, Charles, Emery and sisters Janice and Pauline.

Marvin will be greatly missed by son Michael (Amy) Hayslip of Miamisburg and daughter Heather (Kevin) Frizell of New Lebanon; grandchildren Ross, Andrew (Molly), Adrian, Mathieu (Lacie) and great-grandaughter Macie; sister-in-law Naomi and numerous nieces and nephews. Red was a US Navy veteran, truck driver who loved to fish; loved Nascar/Dale Earnhart and loved to tell a story and make people smile.

Graveside service will be held at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, July 19 at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
